Dyslipidemia in Patients at Low/Moderate Cardiovascular Risk: Real-Life Experiences with Eufortyn Colesterolo Plus
This publication from the Decision Making – Cardiology series presents a collection of real-life clinical experiences focusing on the management of dyslipidemia in patients at low or moderate cardiovascular risk, with particular attention to primary prevention and the use of Eufortyn Colesterolo Plus.
The clinical cases evaluate the use of a nutraceutical combination containing phytosomal bergamot, Cynara scolymus, Cynara cardunculus, zinc and Ubiqsome, focusing primarily on its effects on LDL cholesterol levels and the overall lipid profile. The experiences include patients with hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia, including individuals who are statin-intolerant or unwilling to take statin therapy.
Across the different cases, clinical and laboratory parameters are compared at baseline and after three months of treatment, within interventions that also include dietary recommendations and lifestyle modifications. The collection therefore provides an overview of real-world clinical experiences with nutraceutical management of dyslipidemia and its potential integration into personalized primary cardiovascular prevention strategies.
