Vyxeos® Liposomal and Acute Myeloid Leukemia – Health Technology Assessment and Cost-Effectiveness Evaluation

The volume examines the use of Vyxeos® liposomal (CPX-351) in the treatment of high-risk acute myeloid leukemia, with particular reference to therapy-related AML (t-AML) and AML with myelodysplasia-related changes (AML-MRC). Using a Health Technology Assessment approach, it evaluates the clinical and pharmacoeconomic evidence for Vyxeos® liposomal compared with the standard 7+3 regimen, considering survival, life-years gained, QALYs, healthcare costs and cost-effectiveness from the perspective of the Italian National Health Service.
